SSL Intermediate and Root CA Certificates

General Information ID:    INFO4033    Updated:    07/20/2017

Description

The Root certificate, in most cases, is not required for the installation with the SSL certificate. It is provided here for the rare instances where the server does require the Root certificate to be installed together with the SSL and Intermediate certificates, or for server/client to server communication where the trusted Root certificates have not been pre-installed on the server/client side.

The following tables list Symantec products with links to the relevant Intermediate and Root CA certificates. Once your SSL certificate is installed, please use the SSL Certificate Installation Checker to ensure a problem-free SSL certificate experience for you and your users.

Note: Select a tab on the chart in reference to the correct Algorithm your certificate was issued with.
